For this project in our Data Journalism class, I found one data memo - in this case the NSC's log of all recorded seismic activity in Chile - and developed it into a relevant and complex journalistic report. My data and study showed a possible correlation between tectonic movement and the worsening global climate, and the report attempts to bring this all together into one cohesive news article. I built this article using HTML and CSS code through Sublime, starting from scratch, with no prior coding experience. Through data research and analysis, investigative reporting, and structured storytelling, this report reveals useful information about the seldom-studied effects of global warming on seismic activity.
